AirReps Breeze, March 2024
Spring has SPRUNG at AirReps?
Spring has sprung and we are officially gearing up for our busiest season of the year here at AirReps! While the summertime is always our most involved season, this spring is already blooming with action! ?? This season, we look forward to continuing the expansion of our ever-growing team. Within the next few months, we have incredible office expansions, flavorful team-building events, and more to come in our AirReps University series too!?
This March, we focused on an exciting Grand Opening event and celebrating some of the brightest and best women in HVAC!??
AirReps Spokane VRV Training Room Grand Opening
This month our team was thrilled to finally be able to share a project we have been working on for quite some time, a VRV Training Room located in our office in Spokane, Washington!
This incredible addition is a major piece of our ongoing commitment to continued education for our entire team. Here at AirReps, we know that to continue to be the best, we must continue to invest in opportunities for our team to stay informed on the latest technology within the HVACR field.
With our state-of-the-art Daikin VRV Training Room, AirReps feels poised to continue in our commitment. We’re excited to see how our team will utilize this space for years to come.
Plus, our team loves any excuse to get together and celebrate, and what could be better than a Grand Opening event?
With themed cocktails and food for everyone, we continued in our most cherished AirReps tradition; making every milestone and moment a celebration!
AirReps Internal Engineering Summit
This month, we also held our annual, internal Engineering Summit, which is a chance for our entire Engineering team to come together to learn about and further discuss innovations in HVAC.
Unlike other Engineering Summit events we hold throughout the year, this event is exclusive to Team AirReps, and allows us to ensure that our entire team has the opportunity to participate in continued learning experiences that help them to better perform their daily tasks for themselves, our brand, and most importantly, our clients!?
This year, our AirReps Engineers took part in different classes such as Air Source Heat Pump and Heat Recovery Chiller Performance Review and Air Handling Unit and Fan Coil Overview and Optimization (Fan Laws, Fan Curves, and Coil Design) along with a job site visit and team bonding time at planned group breakfast, lunch, and dinner!
Women’s History Month 2024
Jessica Osiadacz, Lead Service Coordinator
Jessica Osiadacz the Lead Service Coordinator in the AirReps Service Department. In her own words, she spends each day working with a wonderful team to schedule and assist our awesome AirReps Technicians out in the field. Jessica shares that every day, she has the opportunity to learn and navigate new challenges and that she is extremely happy in her position on the team! We’re equally as thrilled to have Jessica on our team this month and all year round, so we asked her some questions about her work here at AirReps for Women’s History Month!

What does it mean to you to be a woman in a field that's traditionally dominated by men?
I find it inspirational to be a woman in this field. It’s challenging but also very rewarding.
What progress have you witnessed throughout your career, and what still needs to be improved???
I have seen immense progress throughout my career, coming from a construction background. I began my career being the only woman in the office, and now seeing the tremendous growth and diversity of the women in our field astounds me. I am blessed to have the opportunity to work alongside some amazing and inspirational women here at AirReps. We are headed in the right direction and will continue to improve!
What advice do you have for other young women looking to take on STEM roles? Why would you recommend a career like yours to other young women looking to take their first steps in their careers????
My advice would be to jump in with both feet! Go for it!! We can do anything we put our minds to. I would recommend a career like mine because there are so many avenues that this career path can take you. Depending on what you find your passion to be, there are opportunities for you to pursue in any field.
How do you uplift other women looking to do what you do????
I have a very positive outlook on life and love to see women succeed and grow. I love to empower women by providing support and being their biggest cheerleader!!
Who has inspired you most, in your career, or your life?
My mom has been my biggest inspiration in life and my career. My mom was a military wife, who taught me to be resilient and through this gave me the confidence to know that I could do anything. We moved around quite often with my dad being deployed and those challenges never stopped her from succeeding at every job that she worked at. She always excelled quickly in leadership positions and truly cared about her employees. She is my inspiration.?
What's your favorite leadership quote or lifelong motto??
?“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts,” - Winston Churchill
Eudoxie Hudry, Project Engineer
Over on our Engineering Team, Eudoxie Hudry is a Project Engineer, who shares that her primary responsibilities include designing efficient HVAC systems to meet client needs, finalizing project quotes, and working closely with our internal Engineering Team, as well as our Account Executives to ensure successful project delivery!?
Eudoxie helps our business to move forward each day, and we’re thankful always for her knowledge and expertise. Read her full interview below! ??
What does it mean to you to be a woman in a field that's traditionally dominated by men?
Engineering is a field traditionally dominated by men, making it a difficult industry for women to break into. Despite the challenges I’ve found working in a male-dominated field, I believe the difficulties have heightened my experiences and helped me to find my confidence within my role. I often feel the need to prove myself ten times over compared to my male counterparts. Women in male-dominated fields often put additional pressure on themselves to serve as a great representation for all women working in the field, to hopefully open the opportunity for more women in the future.?
What progress have you witnessed throughout your career, and what still needs to be improved???
I attended a STEM-focused high school for students intending to pursue a STEM degree, which gave me a unique opportunity to be surrounded by a large group of women with similar aspirations.? College offered a challenging transition where I found that I would struggle to insert myself amongst my male peers, as 1 of 10 women in my graduating mechanical engineering class. It taught me how to stand up for myself, overcome feelings of isolation, and learn how to be successful alone.
I’m thankful to be a part of AirReps surrounded by strong, capable women, working in a range of different roles who empower and inspire me daily. It’s rewarding to work alongside a growing number of women within our male-dominated field, and I would encourage young women to pursue the same.?
Many women fall victim to external, societal pressure, believing they are not worthy of breaking into male-dominated fields, like engineering or they often feel they are undervalued compared to their male counterparts. With healthy growth and industry encouragement, I think many women will find themselves building and establishing their place in the engineering world.?
What advice do you have for other young women looking to take on STEM roles? Why would you recommend a career like yours to other young women looking to take their first steps in their careers???
I would recommend not only for women but for everyone in the workplace, to maintain a sense of community and foster a diverse, inclusive work environment for all. I’d encourage women working in male-dominated fields to recognize the importance of what you bring to the table and to allow yourself to stay in touch with your emotions, as they are valid even in the workplace.?
What's your favorite leadership quote or lifelong motto??
“Just keep swimming” from Finding Nemo.?
