Areas & airports opening or softening restrictions
- Australia: Qantas will resume regular flights from 12 June, announces details of 'Fly Well' program
- Bahamas: Update: Government plans to resume commercial flights from 1 July
- Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany: Update: Eurowings to resume Bosnia and Herzegovina service from June
- Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia: Bulgarian government agrees with Greece, Serbia to ease some travel restrictions from 1 June Government to allow entry of visitors from European Union, Schengen visa zones
- Cambodia, Europe, Middle East, U.S.: Government lifts ban on entry of visitors from six countries; will require health certificate, quarantine
- Canada: Air Canada plans to resume flights between Fort St. John and Vancouver on 22 June
- Cuba: Government plans to reopen airports on 7 July after suspension because of COVID-19
- Cyprus: Air travel and tourism expected to resume on 9 June
- Estonia: government lifts COVID-19 related Emergency Situation; some restrictions still in place
- Europe, Israel: Greek government will reopen borders for tourists from Schengen area and Israel on or before 1 July
- Europe, South America, U.S.: LATAM will gradually increase its international and domestic operations in June and July
- Europe: Condor will resume its summer flight schedule from eight airports in Germany on 25 June
- Europe: EasyJet releases full list of flights flying again from 15 June
- Europe: Eurowings expands flight schedule to several European destinations from June
- Europe: Transavia to resume flights from Netherlands to Greece, Portugal and Spain from 4 June
- Finland, Germany, Latvia: AirBaltic to resume flights from Riga to Berlin, Helsinki and Munich
- Finland: Finnair expects to resume flights in July
- France, U.K.: EasyJet to resume some domestic, France flights from 15 June, will require face masks onboard
- Georgia works to resume several international flight connections after tourist bans are lifted starting 1 July
Georgian Airways will resume flights from 1 July
- Germany: Germany may end its global travel warning from mid-June
- Global: Air France plans to gradually resume operations to several international destinations
- Global: Etihad Airways adds further flights in May and June to, from Abu Dhabi
- Hungary, Slovenia: Governments agree on gradual reopening of the border by 1 June
- India: Domestic flights will resume operations from 25 May as COVID-19 lockdown rules are relaxed (please see attached further information)
- Italy, Spain, U.S.: Alitalia will restart New York, Spain flights as Italy's lockdown eases; airline plans to operate 40 percent of its scheduled flights from July
- Italy, Spain: Spain lifts restrictions on direct flights, ships from Italy following ban because of COVID-19 outbreak
- Italy: Government announces all airports will start reopening from 3 June
- Japan: Government plans to lift state of emergency in Hyogo, Kyoto, Osaka prefectures
- Kyrgyz Republic: Government will lift most of remaining COVID-19 restrictions during the next few days, reopening public transportation and hotels
- Poland: LOT Poland Airlines will resume some domestic flights on 1 June after COVID-19 related suspension. Government may reopen borders 15 June.
- Serbia: Government to lift all COVID-19 entry restrictions from 22 May
- Singapore: Authorities to allow travelers to transit through Changi Airport starting 2 June. Government will gradually reopen borders (Please see attached further information)
- South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam: Bamboo Airways to resume some international flights from 1 July
- South Korea: Jeju Air plans to resume operations in July.Major airlines brace to restart some international flights from June
- Taiwan: Government plans to reduce quarantine period for visitors arriving on short-term business trips
- Tanzania: Authorities resumes international passenger flights on 18 May after suspension
- U.K.: Scotland to ease lockdown restrictions starting 28 May
- U.S.: Delta Air Lines will resume flying several major routes in June
