  6. Remote Control: Airport operators and air traffic controllers can control airfield lighting from a centralized control tower or other locations, ensuring precise control and coordination of lighting systems.
  7. Backup and Redundancy: ALCMS often includes redundancy and backup systems to ensure that lighting is always available, even in the event of equipment failures or power outages.
