Airbus Shuts Down Its Beluga Transport Division

??Airbus has decided to discontinue its oversized cargo airline, Airbus Beluga Transport (AiBT). This decision comes just a year after the launch of the venture, which aimed to utilize the company's unique Beluga aircraft for commercial cargo transport.

??Despite initial optimism, the demand for the Beluga's services proved insufficient to sustain the venture. Operational challenges, including the complexity of handling oversized cargo, contributed to the decision to cease operations. Additionally, the company noted a shift in some cargo transportation to maritime options.

??The Beluga fleet, known for their ability to transport oversized cargo such as aircraft wings and fuselages, will now be used exclusively for Airbus' internal logistics needs.
