If the air strike is Israeli.. then BBC should justify it

Hello. I was glad when I found that BBC has finally started to be a "voice of truth." However, they couldn't complete their one and only mission!

BBC coverage of the Gaza gen0c!de has been known to not comply with the main journalistic requirements, as mentioning "Who did what." This is one sample of what I mean:

Ask any junior journalist, tell him what are the basics of writing a news piece. I bet they would say: Who did what, when, how, and why. Right?

Anyway, today's piece is titled "Five Gaza journalists killed in Israeli strike targeting armed group." That seems complying with the rules I have mentioned. However, when Israel is mentioned, there has to be a justification for its actions, as we all know, the IGF is the most moral army world wide and Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East. Please keep repeating these sentences so as not to be an Antisemitic!

Now, let's dive deep into this piece:

A Palestinian TV channel says five of its journalists have been killed in an Israeli strike in the central Gaza Strip. They were in a Quds Today van parked outside al-Awda hospital, where the wife of one of the journalists was about to give birth, in the central Nuseirat refugee camp. The channel posted a video of what it said was the burning vehicle with "press" signage on the back doors. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it had targeted "Islamic Jihad operatives posing as journalists" and that steps were taken to avoid harming civilians.

Here, BBC converts every word said by the Palestinians into claims, despite the video of the burning vehicle. BBC tells us: they are claiming. We are not sure, indeed!

However, this claim is opposed with another claim that equals it. Israel has targeted operatives acting as journalists.

Then, there are 5 dead people, Palestine said they are journalists, while Israel said they are military operatives.

It is interesting that the operatives acted as journalists who were present beside a hospital. Ok.

The BBC has not been able to verify claims made by either side, with international media being prevented by Israel from entering and freely working on the ground in Gaza. Quds Today is affiliated with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), an armed group that took part in the 7 October 2023 Hamas-led attack on Israel. The unprecedented attack triggered the war in Gaza. The TV channel is believed to receive funding from the group.

This is how everything gets normalized:

  1. Media are prevented by Israel (this means those journalists are more likely to be military operatives, right?
  2. Quds Today, the media outlet, is affiliated with the PIJ (then, their claims are not to be accepted, right?)
  3. Of course, no one day should pass without the mainstream media across Europe and US reminds us that the crimes we are witnessing everyday aren't a result of Israel's superior ideology or the US supporting Israel. It is all about the "Hamas-led attack on Israel in 7 October 2023, when the new history has begun. Nothing occurred before this date. This reminds me of Piers Morgan's question: Do you condemn Hamas? (Even if Israel has destroyed an entire city?)
  4. Finally, BBC changed suddenly its tone, saying: the TV channel is believed to receive funding from the group.

Now, I am asking BBC:

  • Who believes that the TV channel receives funding from the PIJ?
  • What is your proof?
  • Isn't that a claim? as every other claim made by Palestinians/Israelis?
  • Is Israel your reference for this information? Why do you approve it?

Let's rewrite this piece of news into a better, clearer and more concise version.

A Palestinian TV channel, funded by a military group whose members shared in the attacks of October 7th, claims that 5 journalists were killed in an Israeli near strike, despite the fact that Israel doesn't allow any media to enter Gaza. Israel said they targeted operatives who acted as journalists.

This is a better version, right?

BBC is an excellent manipulator, by the way!

I've noticed this trend in "journalism" for several decades now. Thanks for dissecting this story!
