Air Liquide to Construct Largest Hydrogen Hub in North China

Air Liquide is intensifying its investments in Tianjin by constructing the largest hydrogen supply hub in North China, slated to commence in March at the Lingang Industrial Zone.

Spanning 108 acres, the hydrogen hub will be built in two phases. It primarily aims to process and purify surplus hydrogen generated during production at nearby companies like LG and Bohua Yongli Chemical. This purified hydrogen will then be supplied to industrial enterprises and hydrogen-powered vehicles in need. Currently, phase one is expediting construction procedures, with an expected start date in March and projected production beginning in the latter half of the year, reaching a capacity of 3,000 tons. Phase two aims to further expand production capacity , contingent on market developments, extending supply from Tianjin to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, with a target capacity of 7,000 tons.
