Air Heat and Temperature

Heat and Temperature as physical Phenomena occur in a variety of ways in matter. One of its many manifestations is in Air. This brief writing piece is dedicated to this subject.

Air Heat takes place in the Atmosphere, and usually is understood as happening in a specific area. As differentiated from Temperature it is not a flow but it represents the kinetic energy of molecules in a gas. There is no Transfer of Energy in Heat, while there is in Temperature.

Air Temperature (AT) is essentially a Continuous Phenomenon occurring in Nature. This phenomenon can be continually registered in a Graph or digitally using modern technological instruments.

AT responds to the atmospheric phenomenon which in turn responds to the intrinsic nature of Planet Earth which spins doing a periodic movement at a constant angular velocity, according to Science. It is this spinning which generates a variable position of Earth in relation to Cosmos, particularly the Sun. This variation creates thus a variable exposition to the Sun Rays that convey an energy flow to Earth. It is this energy flow that is converted to Heat as it impacts different parts of the Atmosphere and allows a transfer of heat from hotter parts to colder parts generating so the AT Phenomenon.

We are all familiar with the AT Phenomenon because AT is sensitive to the human skin and we can feel how it changes as Earth makes a 360 degrees rotation around its own axis. This is different, depending on where one is located on Earth at a given time, but the plain fact is the there is a wide variation of AT while this complete rotation happens.

I think it is interesting to be aware of the described diurnal variation of temperature (DVT) because it has a directly sensible effect on the whole Biosphere, not only the Human Being. Also animals and plants have evolved sensitive to AT, even to the point that their very existence is exposed to a high risk of health and death.

If one takes into account this reality the following question arises; Is the Global Average Temperature Change of 1.5C in a period of about 2 centuries the best measure of a Climatic Threat to Humankind?. What does that really mean to the Present Generation?
