Air Force Course mates & their Lovely Spouses

We all joined the Air Force academy together in July 1981. Most of us were fresh young graduates & greenhorns in the soldiering business.

There were few like me & others who had a background with the Armed forces. Having studied in a Military school ,I understood that the one year ahead is going to be tough & challenging both physically & mentally.

Yet with all our diverse backgrounds, qualifications, religion & regions we belonged to we trained together & we trained very hard.

All of us in last forty years plus have become like extended families & are on a first name basis with spouses & the children of our Course mates.

We get to meet once a year & sometimes twice a year during the marriages & receptions of our children. Once in a while we meet at the Gala Dinners hosted by a few who are into the hospitality Industry.

You have to really live the time & years with us to be able to fathom how deep is our bonding & eternal growing Love & fondness for each other.

I am sharing this to let our 70 GDOC family know that we care. I would also drop a tear for a few of us who are no more with us but they have left behind a mark on our Lives. We always make it a point to remember them & include their families in all our get togethers.

Shared as we feel that all of you should know more about the Military way of Life.
