The Air Behind AeroTherm

Beyond all the main substance within AeroTherm is Aerogel, a material that is 98.2% air. Aerogel has a porous solid network that contains air pockets, with the air pockets taking up the majority of the space within the material. The lack of solid material allows aerogel to be almost weightless. Aerogel is only three times the density of air - and has tremendous insulating capability. Discovered in the 1930s by a Stanford University researcher, it's the lightest solid known. Click Here To Learn More
