It ain't over till it's over…

Today is the last day of ‘Hannover Messe’ (Hanover Fair) 2019 with Sweden as its official Partner – main topic this year:

Just a few days ago my colleague and new PhD candidate (congrats!) @Constantin Garske ask me to join him on a road trip to one of the world's largest trade fairs and

I was not disappointed!

Industry trends: Industrie 4.0, Artificial Intelligence, 5G or Cobots, just to name a few.

Did I say buzzwords?

Even though our favorite ones experienced a lot of bashing lately, I can tell you, they still go strong: disruptive / agile / innovation / AI / blockchain are omnipresent and very much alive! ;)

We saw a choreographed lightsaber dance (HIWIN), swimming bionic robots (Festo) and flying cars with the world strongest industrial robot (Fanuc). As you can see cobots were a big topic on #HM2019, as was cloud business and additive manufacturing, like 3D printed components engineered by AI (Siemens AG),

Coming from #Siemens Power&Gas ourselves, we were more than excited to see our colleagues defining the Future of Industry and again one step further towards the digital enterprise. With its huge #MindSphere Lounge and discussion panel, being in Hall 9 was real fun! One highlight: flexible massproduction thanks to modular production units or collaborative working robots (cobots).

A look in the future, and an interesting one it is. Big thanks to the city of Hannover!
