What human consequences to expect related to AI capacities growing?
As an HR specialist I thought I will be struggling within the world of AI discussions. In reality it is just the opposite. I find that in any AI conversation it takes no more than five minutes to get to the existential and pressing questions about future of humankind, safety, reality, knowledge or job safety.
Psychologically, I have two important advice for all of us. Firstly, stop for a moment and let us embrace these truly wonderful and useful tools that have come to our hands. Be able to see the huge value of it all. Secondly, in turbulent and uncertain times like this, identify what still provides security for you.
About security, the most depressing question is whether we are still needed. In Hungary today, there are 90,000 unfilled job vacancies, of which 44,000 are IT positions. The answer is a big fat yes. We will be able to fill the gap and increase efficiency. Some fear that we can become lazy, I rather see it as an opportunity. The possibility to focus our attention on creating added value where human touch is needed.
With knowing that we will be needed, our next question is how can our work change? We can expect a lot of changes very soon.
They say that what tasks AI can take away from us, is what we didn't really like doing. AI won't work without us – this will remain a co-creation process.

If our ways of working will be shifting like this, it will also shape recruitment concept of companies.
-?????????Knowledge will not be the primary value as it can be accessed by almost anyone at almost any time.
-?????????Skills, personality, attitude, and morality will be the primary values sought after. Good people.
-?????????Plus, the technology affinity skills will be needed: prompting, delegation, commanding, and finalising the generated outputs.
-?????????These skills are needed to produce high-quality content through collaborative work with AI.
I think that if AI can take my job, then I must be very very bad at it. AI doesn't take away people's jobs, but those who use it, gain huge advantages over those who do not. So the main question for all of us is how we can be better together with it.
