Aiera CTO Letter: Q3 Earnings Season Update

Another earnings season is here, and I wanted to share a comprehensive update on Aiera in the context of an accelerating fintech landscape, notably around generative AI.

Aiera Platform Update

1. Brand New Mobile App

We’ve been heads down building the best possible new, fully redone mobile app for our clients to be able to keep up with earnings season on-the-go. The new app has a fully rebuilt UX, the ability to download and stream events offline, view supporting event documents such as slides and press releases, listen to the audio of the event live (and be able to rewind, change playback speed, etc) and much more.

2. Generative AI: Getting Crazier (And Better) Every Day

Aiera has built a proprietary generative AI suite that provides efficiency and discovery into your earnings workflow. Our model is financially-trained to produce human-quality insights from the events you care about. Aiera’s GenAI tooling includes Automatic Event Summarization, offering quick and digestible explanations of the most pertinent details from any event, like Cliff Notes for earnings calls, segmented by prepared remarks and Q&A.

Have an Amazon Alexa device? In partnership with Amazon and Nasdaq Data Link, you can now ask your device, “Alexa, what happened on Microsoft’s earnings call?” for a quick audio version of these summaries generated by Aiera (press release).

3. Expanded Event Coverage

We recently announced Aiera’s acquisition of Columba Systems, a financial event data sourcing firm that provides global information on corporate events such as earnings releases, conferences, and investor presentations (read the press release). This acquisition delivers even further expanded event coverage and corporate calendar data atop our already industry-leading coverage within the Aiera user interface or via API.

Aiera’s universe of events now includes those hosted by regulatory and government agencies, such as the FDA, EPA, FOMC, central banks, and more (read the press release). These events often have notable market-moving commentary, with implications across a variety of sectors. 4. Proprietary Model Services
