During the spring meeting of the AICPA Council in Washington, D.C., members of the governing body approved a resolution Wednesday supporting the Pipeline Acceleration Plan.

The issue is, it’s no longer a secret that the profession requires significant technical ability that long hours & uncorrelated compensation don’t justify the pursuit towards. All to become just a cog in the machine of some PA Firm, “waiting your turn” for career progression. The issues go beyond that, but how do you fix the image of a profession that is conceptually flawed at an economic-work life balance level?
