AIA Potomac Valley Recognizes ZA+D's Emily Lally for EPAP 2023

(October 10, 2022) ZA+D’s Emily Lally has been selected as one of the five Emerging Professionals Awards Program (EPAP) participants in the 2023 class of our local AIA chapter! This program provides resources for professional development activities and a network opportunity for other ambitious professionals in the region. The honor is reserved for those that show leadership potential in their first 10 years of practice. She will be formally recognized at this year’s AIA PV Design and Leadership award ceremony. Emily has demonstrated her passion for architecture as evidenced by the quality of her work. Her positivity, willingness to do what the projects demand, and work ethic have long been recognized by her colleagues and clients. All of us are pleased to have her now be recognized by the AIA PV. This program will provide the opportunity for mentorship within the greater professional community. Great job, Emily!
The American Institute of Architects Potomac Valley (AIA PV) is a local chapter of national AIA including more than 660 architects and architectural associates. The Chapter’s territory includes Charles, Prince George’s, Montgomery, Frederick, Washington, Allegany, and Garrett counties
Emily is a Project Manager at Zavos Architecture + Design and has been part of the team since 2020. She works in different sectors, including multi-family, sustainable single family, commercial shells and interiors, and master planning projects. A Certified Passive House Consultant passionate about both Passive House and Net Zero design. Emily graduated from the University of Maryland College Park in 2015.
