AI- Your Master or Slave??

Who’ll decide??

I have been hearing and reading a lot of speculations happening around the use of AI, being a source of discomfort for human intelligence.

So, I felt the urge to express what has been happening since the exponential growth of digital era in our everyday life.

Remember the time when we were in school or even college?? We used to learn (not ratta-fication of course LOL) and revise the entire book- or sometimes number of books before our exams. I didn’t know what got to me in my third year of graduation (BCom); Guess.. I was such a book worm, that I took law as my optional subject too. Needless to say, I already had 3 laws to study as my compulsory subject too. I was thrilled to take this challenge. I even had 2 law’s exams in a day.

The point I am trying to make here is that, earlier we had no difficulty in reading the entire book in a DAY; or for some people overnight… LOL (this is what I find it difficult now; probably some of you feel it too); we could remember many phone numbers of our family and close friends as well.

But somehow, these mundane tasks have become pretty much a challenge now. ?

Now, with the introduction to AI; things may become more challenging. If we don’t USE it carefully. I have mentioned the word USE very carefully here. AI should be treated like an employee here; not the other way round.

The reason why I am saying is that, I have been seen people sending me mails or even WhatsApp text, which is written by ChatGPT. I mean… WHY??

Have you stopped forming a normal sentence in your mind now?? Or; are you too conscious or too insecure that it won’t sound professional enough?? Have you never texted anyone before?? What’s the rush to become robotic here??

The spectrum of creativity in our mind is endless. It’s the creative mind that has even thought of such tool in the first place. We need practice and participation to excel over our skills and if we don’t use our own Brain to do that… then we’ll lose the grip from the creative and analytical side of our brain. Then what is left is life-less being which has become a slave of a technology.

AI should not be above human intelligence… EVER.

It is a tool which is made to SERVE us; Which WE can USE… Let’s not get it over our head and makes us it’s SLAVE…

Let's not forget this.. there is a reason why it's called Artificial.. :)
