An AI wrote this: Automation and its flaws.

The pursuit of mans’ enduring quest to build and discover new technology is astounding. Although automation has its flaws, our endeavors are motivated by making the impossible possible. To make human-centered, empathetic AI.

We’ve come a long way. Technology is our drudge, we the earnest navigator. For brands, artificial intelligence—bots rather—can have a huge impact on how consumers interact with products, generate data towards more poignant experiences, and deliver relevant advertisements that do less disrupting and more serving.

Human-centered artificial intelligence firm Cogito analyzes conversations with help from their AI behavioral software. The AI “listens” to tone and detects emotion, then provides empathetic solutions in real-time for the Customer Service Executive to make the experience more enjoyable for both parties.

As you know, there are services such as Microsoft’s Cortana, Amazon’s Alexa, and Apple’s Siri which are regularly learning from us.

In a recent interview with the New York Post, Elon Musk states…

“Sooner or later, the robots will make chimps of us. Artificial-intelligence will eventually create robots that aren’t merely as smart as humans, but much smarter.”

With AI enhancement comes responsibility to your consumer. Microsoft—without user permission—admitted to hiring contractors to listen to conversations on their platforms Cortana and Skype. With a statement like this…

“…we realized, based on questions raised recently, that we could do a better job specifying that humans sometimes review this content…”

…it’s no wonder consumers have a hard time trusting audio-visual software. Understandably, the more data you have on your target market, the more relatable you can be (and the more product you can sell). However, there is a fine line between learning about your customer and invading their privacy.

Questions for the future:

When AI develops consciousness, will they also have human rights?

What are the consequences of facial recognition AI software?

Cill AI regulate our bodies, making us more efficient?

Now the real questions:

Can AI continue work of artists long gone? Can we please have Elvis and Prince back?

AI interior skin injection that scans health and teaches bodies cells to reject unhealthy food entering the body. Gimme.

Will we eventually drive our vehicles instinctively? No controls, simply how we feel.

Think you have an answer to those questions? Comment! Let’s talk about this.
