AI: what is it good for??Focus?on your customers
AI has arrived at that moment which every new, hyped technology invariably reaches: everyone thinks they should be using it, but few have figured out exactly what for. When the opportunities for AI are almost infinite, where do you even start?
The first point and most to make is, if you’re thinking about implementing the technology because it’s cool and everyone’s talking about it, then you’re starting from the wrong place. Wanting to ‘do AI’ is not a strategy.
“When properly trained, AIs reduce the number of errors – and unlike humans, AIs don’t get tired or distracted.”
In this month’s feature article, Ciarán Harris, a Director and Principal Designer at Each & Other walks you through the process of determining how your customers might benefit from AI, how AI can be implemented, and how it all links back to your business success.
Investing in B!G thinkers
Since 2021, we've been proud supporters of our future decision-makers and innovators through The B!G Idea programme. Our partnership has played an important role in propelling this multi-award-winning initiative to reach over 10,000 students across Ireland, imparting creative thinking skills for a lifetime through online mentoring.
Throughout the years, our dedicated team has shared their industry knowledge, offering advice and feedback via the Edtech platform to thousands of 15-19-year-olds from diverse backgrounds. This experience has been a two-way street, providing valuable insights for our team. The co-creation of SDG-aligned projects has been particularly impactful, shedding light on the current challenges within a hard-to-reach demographic. This dynamic engagement has enabled us to actively assist the next generation in making tangible and meaningful change—a cause we are deeply passionate about as an organisation.
As we eagerly approach the fourth year of the programme, we are excited to witness the innovative solutions that the next generation of B!G thinkers will develop. Their creativity and fresh perspectives inspire us, and we look forward to continuing our journey of fostering positive change.

Just checked it out, fantastic insights on AI! ?? As Steve Jobs once said, "Technology is nothing. What's important is that you have a faith in people, that they’re basically good and smart, and if you give them tools, they’ll do wonderful things with them."
