AI Vs. AI – The fight has just begun.

AI stands for Average Intelligence, Augmented Intelligence (which we call Artificial Intelligence ), and Awesome Intelligence!
As humans, we possess the most advanced multimodal AI and Machine Learning tools. Our ability to simultaneously smell, taste, see, hear, and feel is a testament to our unique multimodal intelligence (UMMI).
Also, if you are reading this blog, you can see these characters as alphabets; your mind converts them into 'words,' 'and sentences,' and understand their meaning, as your Biographical Intelligence is processing the knowledge of your learning of the English language, grammar, your previous readings and exposure to various fields including new AI tools. As your eyes see the characters, your 'Natural Intelligence converts these into coherent thoughts simultaneously and makes you think about what steps you can take after this, and trust me, your intelligence may keep the picture of this blog for the near foreseeable future. All it took was just 15 seconds for your natural intelligence to decide whether to keep this blog in the memory for future reference or scrap it- what a tool -OMG!
So, as humans, we should never fear so-called tools like AI or ML, whether CHATGPT-4o or any other tool that comes out in the future. I am quite sure that we will get more advanced tools and devices. As humans, we are blessed with all these natural tools. The only thing we need to improve is updating our knowledge repository. So, what can you do?
Read ( follow this blog ??); as I mentioned in my book 'Your Degree is Not Enough' published by McGraw Hill in 2020, we all have to do certain things to keep updated with the changing needs of the time. Besides reading, meeting people, and learning a new skill, there is a curated 'watch list' I have put in the book besides the activities you must undertake. You are blessed with the most advanced intelligence tool; please don't downgrade your 'Awesome Intelligence' inherited to 'Average Intelligence.'
At least for the field I work in ( Healthcare), I have created an 'Ecosystem' for doctors and other healthcare industry professionals to keep them ahead of others. You can check out that on the Academy of Digital Health Sciences under the Doctors' Day Special Offer, which has the link to join the 'Ecosystem'.
Given my role at the United Nations Internet Governance Forum's Dynamic Coalition on Digital Economy - (Do look up Project CREATE ), I am keen to associate with like-minded people from other sectors to create such an Ecosystem for you if you are not from healthcare.
In my view, just doing one activity will not help; you will need a continuous learning program like CUSP?, a community like Health Parliament ?, and a Summit like the Global Digital Health Summit ? to meet, learn, and share in person with exciting people. As Steve Jobs famously said, "Creativity comes from spontaneous meetings, from random discussions.?You run into someone, ask what they're doing, say 'Wow,' and soon you're cooking up all sorts of ideas."

Don't be afraid of AI; you are already blessed with 'Awesome Intelligence'; stay ahead of the game and be a part of the 'Nurturing Ecosystem.' If you are in healthcare, we have it for you ( Click this), and if you are in another sector, the wait could be a bit longer, but I am working on it. I see no reason why you will not do better in the future with your 'Awesome Inbuilt Intelligence.'
All the best

This is a remarkable definition AIs for people like me who THINK we know something about AIonly as a useful all encompassing tool, much superior to us. Hats off Dr Gupta!

3 个月Well stated Dr Gupta. Human intelligence is the real intelligence and without any limits. The touted fears of AI replacing human jobs are unfounded. We just need to continue to sharpen our saw continuously. The human Awesome Intelligence is irreplaceable for all times. Onus is on us.

3 个月Dr. Rajendra, Thank you for this insightful article! Your perspective on human intelligence as 'Awesome Intelligence' resonates deeply. It's indeed a powerful reminder that our natural multimodal intelligence is unparalleled. Your emphasis on continuous learning and updating our knowledge repository is crucial in this rapidly evolving AI landscape. I recently wrote an article on the dynamics of intelligence, where I explored how intelligence should be defined within systems. I argued that when two intelligences cooperate in parallel within one system, they can synergize to maximize future options and increase the degree of freedom for that system. This aligns well with your idea of leveraging our natural intelligence alongside AI tools to stay ahead. You can read more about it here: [My LinkedIn Article](https://www.dhirubhai.net/posts/alireza-sheikhi-nasrabadi-7b704059_notified-bodies-alireza-sheikhi-activity-7192959408744632320-hq4d?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop). Looking forward to more of your thought-provoking insights!
