AI Versus AI

Some people I met recently were touting the benefits of ChatGPT? Vs. BARD. So I was curious. Would I get the same answer from both BARD and ChatGPT? Is one better than the other? What does ‘better’ even mean?
Because the topic of jobs is on many people’s minds,? I used the following prompt: What are the top 5 jobs that will be most likely to be impacted in terms of reduced positions as a result of the use of Generative AI in the next 5 years?
Chat GPT and BARD both responded with some similar roles, but each returned roles not found on the other.? Another interesting difference is that ChatGPT returned?a more complex role name. For example, "Data Entry and Administrative Roles” Vs. a single role name like ‘Data Entry Clerk’ from BARD. ? Both included disclaimers about new jobs being created. The disclaimers give a very ‘marketing’ oriented feel to me.???
Three roles align closely, but each response had roles that did not appear on the other.?Surprisingly BARD did not call out Customer Support but at the same time ChatGPT included Chatbots as an impacted role.?Similarly, ChatGPT has no notion of the impact of driverless vehicles, while BARD put Drivers in the Top 5.?
Is one of them RIGHTer than the other?
This is a simple example of the unknown biases, assumptions, reliability risks and challenges we will face as more complex use cases emerge. Especially when the underlying logic and data sources are unknown.?
I’m even more curious about what you have observed and concluded regarding the relative differences between these amazing technologies.
Let me know what you think!?
