AI Tools and Features in x-dream-group's Portfolio

As AI-tools and features are no more theory but also widely used in actual work, we decided to share with you how we and our portfolio partners implemented them in products.?

In our own software x-dream-Fabrik Archive, AI is employed for face recognition, enabling the quick identification of individuals in vast video libraries. Additionally, speech-to-text conversion supports seamless transcription across multiple languages, while our translation tools ensure content can be localized effectively for diverse audiences.

The x-dream-Fabrik Publish platform takes advantage of AI to simplify the process of adapting content for social media. The AI engine automatically shortens and refines text, optimizing it for platforms like YouTube and Twitter.

In the x-dream-Fabrik News, AI enhances news production by summarizing information from editorial boards into concise, accurate text. This functionality not only accelerates the preparation of scripts but also assists in creating professional voiceovers for news pieces.

Our ingest partner, Woody Technologies, added AI functionality to their social media ingest software IN2IT social. Its search engine, fueled by?Nunki, features intelligent keyword recommendations encompassing synonyms, translations, and typos, along with content qualification, expanded data sources, widget-infused dashboards, AI-driven result enhancements, and advanced search functionalities.?

The integration between Limecraft and IN2IT exchange allows users to automate the creation of subtitles and the addition of audio transcription (speech-to-text), cutting the processing time and its cost to a fraction.

Our transcoding partner, Capella Systems, employs AI to save time by creating metadata for media content. AI detects and recognizes faces, blurring them where appropriate, and allows automated processing based on content. There is also available advanced scene-change detection, video complexity analysis, speech detection, and sports score detection. Capella software can identify specific images to create ad insertion points automatically for live-streaming content, maximizing revenue. They have incorporated Open AI/Whisper-based Speech-to-Text and upgraded OCR with improved quality that can also detect ad-break thresholds and other video events.

Our MAM partner Flow Works is focusing on locally run AI, avoiding costly clouds by AWS, Microsoft or Google. Flow Center AI runs on-premises, offering features like face and object recognition, OCR in multiple languages, speech-to-text and translation not only to wide-used languages like English, German, Chinese, but also to complex ones like Hindi, Xhosa, Marathi, Zulu. AI helps identify content in archives and backlogs, adding this info to metadata. It generates summaries, offers hashtags and, in general, helps to monetize content. For live scenarios, near-instant translations are also possible.

Smaller setups can access AI via Flow Works internal cloud, ensuring secure, cost-effective processing without relying on big tech providers.

Our Quality Control partner, Venera Technologies, uses AI in their CapMate software developed for subtitle checking.
