I couldn't be more layman in the matter, I'm starting this selling well, right? but like everyone I have a genuine interest in the topic and I try to keep abreast in the search for these solutions to improve contact with the Customer and Brand Awareness in general.
According to a survey conducted by PwC, AI has the potential to add up to $15.7 trillion to the global economy by 2030, making it a key driver for growth and competitiveness in the market.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is a branch of computer science that aims to develop systems and programs capable of simulating human reasoning and performing complex tasks autonomously. In short, they seek to create machines/solutions/programs that can learn, adapt and solve problems as humans do. To do this, it is necessary to develop algorithms and techniques that allow computers to process and analyse large volumes of data, identifying patterns in order to make decisions autonomously and efficiently.
There are several types of artificial intelligence with different levels of sophistication:
? Narrow artificial intelligence
Specialized in performing specific tasks such as voice recognition, image analysis, product recommendation, or playing chess. Narrow AI is the most common form of AI currently in use, being designed to perform a single task with high efficiency and accuracy, but do not have the ability to learn or perform other tasks outside of their specific scope.
? Artificial General Intelligence
Artificial General Intelligence, or Strong Artificial Intelligence, is a type of AI that has cognitive abilities similar to those of humans, being able to learn, understand, and apply knowledge in a wide variety of tasks and situations. It involves the creation of systems that can demonstrate abstract reasoning, complex problem-solving, and continuous learning capabilities, without the need for human intervention.
? Artificial superintelligence (ASI)

Artificial Superintelligence represents an advanced theoretical stage of AI, in which machines would be able to outperform human intelligence in all aspects, from reasoning and creativity to empathy and intuition. Still in the analysis and debate phase, this form of intelligence could in theory be achieved and profoundly change human life, as we know it.
We have been living with the first 2 types of intelligence for a few years now, we are simply more aware of their existence and incredible potentiality.
Some examples, facial recognition, surveillance cameras with AI features, tools to manage and control stocks in companies, navigation systems, such as Waze, recommendation systems on streaming platforms – Netflix, Spotify, online commerce, automatic translation tools, virtual assistants – Siri, Chat GPT, Customer support Chatbots, present on company websites, help to respond quickly and neatly. Social media monitoring, companies use artificial intelligence to analyse the "sentiment" and opinions expressed on social media and other online platforms. This information is valuable for decision-making in marketing, communication, and product and service development.
I leave the example of medicine for last, because it is the one where I believe that in the short medium term the impact will be greater. Artificial intelligence has a growing role in medicine, especially in diagnosis and analysis. AI can identify patterns in exams such as CT scans, MRIs, and X-rays, aiding in the early detection of diseases and the evaluation of treatments. This improves diagnostic accuracy and reduces the workload of healthcare professionals.
As artificial intelligence evolves, its potential to transform diverse industries and aspects of everyday life continues to grow. The importance of artificial intelligence in customer management is constantly growing. Companies need to adapt to this change to remain competitive. The future of AI in churn management and customer retention promises to be rich in opportunities, radically transforming the way challenges related to these themes are faced.
However, it is necessary to emphasize that True innovation with AI does not come from the simple fact of following fashions, but from the careful and strategic integration of this technology into business processes. It is essential for companies to align their initiatives with clear and measurable objectives, ensuring that each AI project has a defined purpose and contributes to the organization's strategic objectives. In short, a structured implementation and choice of tools. Boston Consulting Group's (BCG) approach emphasizes the importance of defining clear success metrics early on. This includes key performance indicators (KPIs) that can monitor the progress and impact of AI initiatives. For example, a logistics company can set a goal of reducing delivery time by 20% by optimizing routes with AI using specific KPIs to measure this improvement.
To ensure that AI is used ethically and responsibly, it is essential for companies to establish clear governance and data protection policies, implement regular audits, and promote transparency and disclosure of algorithms. Without a doubt, one of the areas of practice to grow in Law Firms, in terms of study, definition of practices and creation of legislation that guarantees principles of legality and ethics.
At the "end of the day", we should adhere with care and analysis, but with the certainty that saving time can imply greater productivity and quality of life, for us humans, fundamental objectives that we cannot, and should not, give up.
