Salesforce is stepping up its AI game with the launch of two new fully autonomous sales agents: the Einstein Sales Development Rep (SDR) Agent and the Einstein Sales Coach Agent.
Both of these innovative tools will be available starting October 2024.
These new agents are built on Salesforce’s Einstein 1 Agentforce Platform, designed to supercharge your sales team's growth.
The Einstein 1 Platform brings together your data, AI, CRM, development, and security into one unified system. It gives IT, admins, and developers a powerful and flexible AI platform that makes it easier to build generative apps and automate processes quickly.
The Einstein Sales Coach Agent is like having a personal coach for your sales team. It runs role-plays tailored to each deal, giving sellers personalized and unbiased feedback afterwards.
During these role-plays, Einstein takes on the role of the buyer, using generative AI to turn text into speech. It leverages RAG to simulate realistic buyer responses based on relevant information from Salesforce, such as deal details, account info, and past interactions.
The Einstein Sales Coach Agent uses large language models (LLMs) to bring in insights from industry experts and trusted sources when giving feedback to sellers. It also looks at the next steps the rep has noted in Salesforce and any overdue tasks.
By applying the same standards to every role-play session, this AI ensures consistent feedback for all reps.
Managers can track how well the Einstein Sales Coach Agent is boosting team performance by monitoring coaching sessions, identifying which reps are most engaged and analyzing the win/loss rates of deals with and without coaching making it easy to see the return on investment.
On the other hand, the Einstein SDR Agent works around the clock to engage with inbound prospects and keep your pipeline active. Unlike standard chatbots that follow set scripts, this agent makes decisions and prioritizes actions to match your goals.
It can handle everything from answering product questions and managing objections to scheduling meetings, all by analyzing each prospect’s questions and figuring out the best next step.
The Einstein SDR Agent bases every response on your company’s reliable business data, including what’s stored in Salesforce CRM. Using Data Cloud, businesses can upload existing sales materials—like product FAQs, sales strategies, and case studies—so Einstein can craft accurate and trustworthy responses to lead inquiries.

You can also tailor how Einstein interacts with prospects by customizing its language and tone. Plus, you have control over how often, through which channels, and at what times Einstein should engage with inbound prospects.
The Einstein SDR Agent and Einstein Sales Coach Agent will be available for general use starting in October 2024, with even more features being added throughout the year.
