Google goes all-in with AI advertising.

As the holidays approach, Google dropped a bag of AI-powered goodies for Performance Max campaigns. ???? Here’s a breakdown of the new features:

  • Imagen 3 Integration — This AI-powered text-to-image tool helps advertisers generate high-quality visuals for Google Ads campaigns.
  • AI-Enhanced Video Ads — Google’s AI can now automatically flip or shorten your videos, tailoring them to different aspect ratios and shorter formats for better YouTube performance.
  • Ad Previews — Shareable previews are now available across more campaign types, including those with product feeds and travel goals.
  • Performance Max & Standard Shopping Campaigns — Performance Max will no longer automatically take priority over Standard Shopping campaigns when both target the same products. Instead, Ad Rank will determine which campaign is shown.

LinkedIn gets serious about video.

B2B marketers, take note. LinkedIn's new ad features are aimed directly at you (and us ??).? Here's a closer look:

  • Live Event Ads — This feature allows you to promote posts related to live events using Thought Leader Ads, linking directly to the event. Additionally, businesses can share a 30-second “sneak peek” of their live broadcasts.
  • Video Expansion — With video uploads up 34% year-over-year, the Wire program allows brands to run in-stream video ads alongside trusted publisher content.
  • Accelerate Campaign Creation — LinkedIn’s Accelerate feature now includes video and document ads, such as eBooks and whitepapers, and offers expanded campaign objectives like brand awareness and video views.
