AI Roadmap for learning AI

AI Roadmap for learning AI

Starting this week, I'm excited to share my AI learning journey with you through this blog. I'll be following a structured AI roadmap designed to enhance my skills and deepen my understanding of the field. These insights will be captured under the AI Notes section, aimed at helping fellow AI enthusiasts by sharing my experiences and highlighting any challenges I encounter. Additionally, I’m introducing a new segment featuring AI-related mini docu-series, released weekly to educate and inspire our online community about the latest AI advancements. I hope you enjoy these new additions and find them both informative.

Lets get started.

AI Concepts

AI agents are sophisticated computer systems programmed to autonomously perform specific tasks by making decisions based on their programming and the data they encounter. These agents are designed to learn from their environments and evolve, adapting their behaviors to optimize outcomes over time. They can be deployed across a range of environments, from simple automated systems in customer service roles to advanced problem-solving applications in dynamic scenarios. AI agents are particularly valuable because they handle repetitive or complex tasks with greater efficiency. For instance, in e-commerce, AI agents autonomously manage inventory, personalize product recommendations based on user behavior, and handle customer service inquiries, thereby streamlining operations and improving customer experiences.

AI Roadmap

Here is a non-exhaustive roadmap that I would like to follow from my favourite AI Youtuber DaveEbbelaar. This is a easy-to-follow guide for starting a career in AI in 2024. He explains the importance of AI today and dispels common myths. Dave suggests choosing between learning to code or using low/no-code tools.

My Notes

In the advent of AI technology, the need for reskilling is becoming increasingly urgent. Since the introduction of large language models in the late 2020s, AI adoption has surged, leading to significant job shifts. General AI's ease of use across diverse tasks like scriptwriting, translation, and summarization means its integration into workplaces is accelerating. As AI evolves into more autonomous applications, such as agents and co-pilots, the risk of job displacement grows. The essential response to these changes is reskilling, with an emphasis on learning AI and machine learning to stay competitive and secure in the job market.
