Will AI Replace Teachers?

Hey, it’s Robbie.
The other day, I was scrolling through Facebook (as one does when avoiding actual work), and I came across a post from a coach saying:
“AI will replace teachers.”
And people in the comments?
They were actually agreeing.
It's a bold claim, right?
But here’s the thing…
AI can generate content.
It can answer questions.
It can create lesson plans.
That’s where we are now.
People are constantly questioning what’s real, who’s real, and who they can actually trust.
And as more AI-generated word salad floods the internet, it’s making it harder than ever for real experts (like you) to stand out.
And honestly?
That totally sucks.
Because you’re not here to churn out soulless content for an algorithm.
You and I are here to do real work that matters.
To build something we love.
To genuinely help people.
And, hopefully, make a pretty decent living in the process!
So you have a choice.
You could shake your fist at the robots
(but that won’t stop them)…
Or, you can do what I decided to do after some serious Christmas soul-searching:
Double down on what makes you different.
Your personality.
Your humanity.
Your heart.
Because the truth is:
AI can’t build trust like a real conversation can.
AI can’t adapt on the fly to the energy of a group.
And let’s be really honest, teacher to teacher…
Can it make a group of students laugh at a terrible grammar joke?
Can it sense when someone is totally lost, even when they nod like they get it?
Can it convince a group of adults to actually turn their cameras on?
Didn’t think so.
And yet, a lot of teachers are trying to market themselves with more AI-generated content…
When the real opportunity is in doing what AI can’t.
That’s why live events like workshops, webinars, and even casual Q&As are some of the most powerful ways to grow your teaching business in 2025.
They let you show up, connect, and build trust faster than any piece of content ever could.
Now, I know running a live event can feel overwhelming.
(What if no one shows up? How do I handle the tech? How do I get people to buy without feeling awkward?)
Maybe you’re even thinking,
“I wouldn’t even know where to start…”
I hear you.
And I’ve got you.
That’s exactly why I’m super excited to host a Live Event Challenge for a small group of teachers.
Over four sessions, you’ll learn how to plan, promote, and run your own online events, with my support every step of the way.
No tech headaches.
No awkward sales moments.
No fear of speaking to an empty Zoom room.
If you want all the details, click here.
We kick off next week, and there are only four spots left.
Registration closes tonight at 11:59 PM (Friday, 28th Feb),
Or sooner if the group fills first.
I need to lock in the session times over the weekend, and I’m keeping the group small so I can offer the highest level of support.
So, once the last spots are taken or the deadline passes, that’s it.
Hope to see you on the inside,
Robbie
P.S. Not 100% sure if this is what you need?
Just drop a comment below or DM me with your questions, and I'll give you the full breakdown so you can make the most informed decision.
P.P.S. What’s one thing AI will never be able to do as well as a real teacher?
Let’s settle this once and for all.

20 小时前It’ll never replace us if we learn to use it properly. What I love about it is that it knows exactly how I like to plan my lessons and I’ve got it down so well that I can just ask it to write out my next lesson plan and it gives me me perfect lesson 99% of the time. But it cannot replace my personality and the wisdom that I also bring to the lessons.

1 天前Your best post ever Robbie and I totally agree. Reading the other comments has made me think... maybe those of us who still value our humanity should see the current trend as an incentive to connect in meaningful ways, to work together as a unified family to reject the replacement of people with soulless, robotic machines and to start evolving in a positive directions once more.

2 天前Robbie Kane I already read this post yesterday because I'm on your mailing list, and your thoughts really made me think. And yes, there are many games and personalized tasks that AI simply can't do. It is very important to engage with our students while teaching, to have fun with them, and to enjoy working together. I believe languages belong to us, to people, which means we are the ones who can convey and teach them in the most authentic way. And yes, AI can't adapt to people's energy or truly connect with them. ?? ??
As teachers, we should embrace what AI can't do. Specifically, engage with students on a human level. Thanks for your post, Robbie
