Will A.I. Replace Most HR Professionals?

In our discussions with clients and leads, as everyone observes the rapid advancement of AI and new technologies, we are often asked what will happen to HR jobs in the coming years and whether HR professionals will be replaced by computers.
We see companies planning to optimize their processes without neglecting their people. However, whether we like it or not, with all the new technologies available, tasks such as finding candidates, screening them, testing them, completing necessary paperwork for employment, managing payroll, and handling other administrative duties can already be fully automated—without errors and always on time.
Considering the pressure on boards and management to focus on profitability, it is only a matter of time before they decide to replace functions traditionally done by humans with AI.
Some companies may be compelled to adopt these changes even if they aren't entirely comfortable with AI, possibly because they don’t fully understand what’s happening. When they see their competition rapidly embracing AI, a sense of urgency to keep up may drive decisions.
It’s just a matter of time—a short time—before we start seeing drastic changes in the HR landscape.
