So, just now, I did a course on project management to know which AI tools are used these days and are in trend. I want to thank Ricardo Vargas and Ashley Kennedy for making this course available to all of us.
Course Name: AI-Driven Project Management: Techniques and Insights with Ricardo Vargas

I am writing this article because clearly, as a project manager, change and adaptability come first.
Acceptance is a part of it, so first, you must accept that you need to change, and so do the tools.
So, all the project managers should first understand the older tools that we used to use and the manual calculations that we used to use or maybe use the computer systems. All of these will be replaced by generative AIs, or better, custom GPTs that are already there. If you are not using them or have not started understanding what these tools can or cannot do, what the trend is, I believe, as you are in a competitive environment, be it in any industry or business, you will fall back.
Recently, I came across an article where people wanted to navigate what the benefits of using these tools are, and not again, I would like to emphasize the point that as I'm going to be a lecturer soon, ?project management will be one of the subjects that I would like to teach. It is essential to highlight here right away that in the past five months, people didn't even know that the future was going to be a reality in such a short time, which is five months back AI was just like something to look out for. Now, people can say that AI is a reality, present in every environment and business. Definitely, all the project managers need to understand the value of these AIs soon enough.
I did this course on LinkedIn, taken by these two incredible people I have already talked about in the introductory part.
Here I get to know about tools like-
1.?Goblin.tools magic To Do:
It provides a list that gives you a simple work breakdown structure just by typing one line, so project managers should check out this tool. It is free.

2.?CustomGPTs:
Of course, this is quite old, so I am not going to discuss it that much. These are openGPTs but can be customized as a Risk Management Navigator or manager. These cost you some fees, and then it has some different features, such as open coders, but of course, they will be replaced by generative AIs.
3. PMOtto.ai :
This tool is used by project managers to act as a project manager assistant. It can provide you with the right actions if your project is over budget or delayed. This is also a tool that is being used by other project managers, so if you are not using it, at least you should know what you are missing.
4. Generative AI and maths etc. :
Now generative AIs will be so evolutionary and disruptive in nature that they will use maths and engineering codes in their functioning. They will be continuously evolving with knowledge over time, and the more knowledge and files uploaded on the Internet anywhere, the more they will adapt to all of it, update their knowledge base, and even compete with humans anytime and every time.
So, the only thing that differentiates a project manager considering all of the mathematical tasks and the line of action that can now be decided by these project management tools, is to see how the team is working to handle difficult people. I have recently taken a course on how to handle difficult people as well. I am also difficult sometimes, A MISMATCH (HAHA…a reference to my thesis work).
Project managers in the future will have to focus on proper communication, generating a productive environment, team building exercises, and people management to narrow it down, so, of course, organizational behavior and human resource theories and practice are going to come in handy for those who have been following them, and for those who haven't you should know better that if tools are going to replace our technical expertise soon then the only part which differentiates us from them and makes us human is understanding other humans that are understanding people and that's what project managers need to focus on. To make collaborations enjoyable, working with them is exciting and creates an environment that does not encourage micro-management but encourages autonomy with creativity.

Anyone interested can check out this course as well. This is a short course, and ?I have mentioned the essential highlights.
Also, rather than traditionally posting the certificate, ?I decided to change a little. I wrote this article and attached my certificate because this is an excellent way or a new creative way to get in touch with whoever is interested in project management and also broadcast it yes, I have been keeping up with the evolutions in PM tools and techniques, and that I am open to accepting that some updating is needed from time to time, it is a continuous process. I am looking to make that change happen.
