The first time I heard about ChatGPT was through a colleague and when I tried it, it was mind-blowing. My enthusiasm for it grew, and I started using it for everything, and I mean everything!
If you are yet to catch up with this AI-powered writing tool, ChatGPT is an AI, designed to have a conversation and chat with you. You can throw any question at it and you shall get a response.
With ChatGPT, however, you only get quality answers if your prompts are precise and correct. Keep in mind that not all answers received are 100% accurate.
I have used it in my writings and also when looking for ideas. I have even tried to asked it to write my resume and personal emails… love it! But, it got me asking: Are all these technological advances making us lazy thinkers?
I love AI writing tools, and between Grammarly, Jasper, WordTune and now ChatGPT, writing has become easy.
Because of the amount of content I produce every week, I have become increasingly dependent on these tools. Nevertheless, I still believe that quality work requires a good human eye.
Will using AIs kill a writer’s creativity?
In my opinion, I fear that content writing might start missing a whiff of that je ne sais quoi.
The best way to utilise these tools is to use them to help you create content that you can then shape into something unique to you.
