Just like some people never thought they would have certain words come out of their mouths until they had kids... I kind of can't believe the title I just typed.
I mean ... AI-powered shoes? Basically like an electric bike only a shoe that is powered by your motion and endless algorithms.
In fairness, they do help you walk faster, you know, for those of us who lost sleep over not keeping up with the crowd. Kinda like walking on a moving sidewalk at the airport. I know that everyone craves that experience on a daily basis....right? (crickets)
If you haven't given yourself the treat of viewing these new commodities then you are ....missing out? I mean I am not really planning on jumping on the trend just yet personally, but maybe it's that item you were missing from your life in which your life will suddenly have meaning. Well if anything you should check it out because it is unique and will give you a laugh or the next cool video to share with the buds.
I think the big question that is hovering out there is: Do we need that much of our basic actions being monitored by biometric AI?

IDK at this point maybe cars will be gone in 20 years and we will need to know how to walk with precision-style gates for maximized efficiency to stay away from the zombies or something.
In a way looking at it from a data mining viewpoint, this is a great idea, because the human feet are a huge source of what the rest of the body is doing or interested in. Medical professionals will say this as well. So from a data mining mentality, why not harness the source and have it work for you. As the source just walks around in everyday life you can get real quality data to help train more AI and cater to everyday human experiences.
It is a great way to see the everyday dealings of humans and in reality, it is not any more invasive than the apps on your phone that cross-track all your input-output across your device. The "free games" which basically read about everything you do on your phones.
In reality is it any different than an AI rollerblade or skate? Not really and it can always be left behind during the day.
As a basic free human though I would say that this might be a little over the top?? Thoughts? Of course, I thought that about a bunch of things that I currently do now.
