Most current AI applications can be used for many different purposes, including writing articles, generating code, and diagnosing problems. We wanted to test some practical applications of GPT-3, a language model? that generates human-like responses to questions. Being in academia, our interest this time of the year is on going back to school. In this article, we explore various aspects of GPT-3 and present GPT-3 answers to our questions.

What is GPT-3?

GPT-3 is a transformer-based machine learning model introduced by Open AI, a research and deployment company. It is used for natural language processing (NLP), which refers to the understanding of human language in spoken and written form. GPT-3 is trained on a large corpus of text data and can be used for a variety of tasks, such as text generation, language translation, code completion, and answering questions.

How to access GPT3?

It is fairly easy. Just go to the Open AI website and register to join. Once your account is verified, you can start using? the “playground”, a space within the interface, to generate text and? test various examples of applications based on GPT-3.

What is the best way to work with GPT-3??

There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question. The best way to work with GPT-3 may vary depending on a specific use case. However, some tips on how to work with GPT-3 include:?

This time GPT-3 narrowed down the answers to specific areas. Finally, as going back to school sometimes refers to shopping for school related items and clothes, we ask GPT-3 if there is any fashion advice we should follow.

GPT-3: There are many fashion trends in college in 2022. Some of the most popular ones include:?

Based on GPT-3 suggestions, we are on track to incorporate these fashion trends into our wardrobes, but before we go, let’s ask GPT-3 if it wants to go back to school.?

To conclude, what we learned from this small project is that GPT-3 is task agnostic and provides answers on a variety of topics ranging from key fields of study to fashion advice. The outputs of GPT-3 can be biased towards specific geographic locations and gender. It is clear that generic questions lead to generic answers, and more specific questions generate more specific results. You can see for yourselves to what extent they make sense, and how the experimentation with wording leads to different results.?
