AI Monthly: Responsible AI

AI Monthly: Responsible AI

Dear AI Enthusiasts,

Recent advances in generative AI promise vast rewards but also present complex challenges for the future of AI–not least of which is balancing its enormous potential with ethical, privacy, and safety concerns. As we blaze a path to responsible AI (RAI), I'm eager to see what’s around the next bend.

This month, I've got some cool nuggets to share from?a massive global exec survey ?and some deep chats I’ve had with industry leaders. For example, while nearly 80% of companies are using external AI tools to keep up with their competitors, more than half of all AI flops come from these off-the-shelf tools.

Most of all, one thing is clear: RAI success depends on CEO engagement. CEOs can create a culture that fosters responsible innovation; organizations whose CEOs are deeply engaged in RAI experience a wider range of benefits.

It will take time to see how the landscape evolves so hang onto your hats, because we're in for an exhilarating ride.

Until next time,

Sylvain Duranton?
