Dear AI Enthusiasts, ?
Generative AI is not just reshaping the productivity landscape—it’s expanding workers’ capabilities to meet the ever-evolving demands of their roles. To dive deep into how GenAI empowers workers to perform tasks beyond their existing skillsets, The BCG Henderson Institute collaborated with BCG X to conduct a new experiment alongside Emma Wiles from Boston University, with technical support from Pamela Mishkin of OpenAI’s Economic Impacts Research Team.?
In this groundbreaking study involving over 480 BCG consultants, we examined real-world scenarios where GenAI significantly enhanced the abilities of knowledge workers. Remarkably, participants with no prior coding or data science experience were able to perform complex tasks, such as writing Python code and applying machine learning models—challenges they would have been unable to tackle without GenAI’s assistance. These findings highlight how technology can expand professionals’ horizons, equipping them to navigate new challenges with agility and confidence. ?
As businesses and individuals embrace this new frontier, GenAI is emerging as a powerful tool for fostering innovation and tackling more sophisticated work–and this is only the beginning!?
Stay tuned for more exciting breakthroughs,???
Sylvain?

1 个月Very interesting. Supercharging with AI a single human being is now obvious. But in your study, did you analyze how AI can supercharge an organisation as a whole , for instance through Agentic organisation mixing AI agents and humans in same teams , and where AI can help breaking the inherent organizational silos any big/ mid size company faces Reproducing the power of a small team at a larger scale is the holy grail all companies and consulting firms tried to solve in past years (eg lean organisation , agile organisation, flat organization , etc… Will Ai help us find this holy grail ? I start to see proof of it
