AI Meets National Security: MetalMiner and Exiger Partner with DARPA for Supply Chain Resilience

We proudly announce that MetalMiner, in partnership with Exiger, has partnered with DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) to support the Open Price Exploration for National Security (OPEN) program, in collaboration with the United States Geological Survey (USGS)!

This 24-month research initiative aims to bolster supply chain resilience and national security by enhancing transparency in critical commodity pricing and supply-demand forecasting. Exiger, leveraging its advanced AI and cognitive computing capabilities, will provide real-time supply chain data to MetalMiner's pricing models and forecasting algorithms.

“We’re proud to work with Exiger to architect new solutions for DARPA that seek to drive long-term stability and informed decision-making in the commodities market,” says MetalMiner CEO, Lisa Reisman.

Additionally, Exiger’s CEO, Brandon Daniels, added, “We’re honored to partner with DARPA and collaborate with MetalMiner to leverage Exiger’s advanced AI and cognitive computing capabilities to provide supply chain visibility that supports this critical program.”

Both companies will combine their expertise to develop technology that ensures long-term stability and informed decision-making in the commodities market, addressing key challenges in U.S. defense operations and economic competitiveness.
