AI isn't creative(alone) but it doesn't have to be.
As a creative professional, my career has always revolved around design. From a young age, I associated creativity with writers, actors, musicians, designers, photographers, people who act hands-on and do visual work - artists. I saw these people as the holy grail for tapping into fantasy, dreams and wishes. My biggest dream was to be one of them. And in fact, I always loved drawing, I started as an art trainee at a young age.
Over time, that led me into roles like art direction, film production, and campaign creation. My biggest dream was about working as a creative director, producing high-quality content, being "artsy" all the time and forming every emotion into visuals that drive stories along. I was there, worked with enterprise clients, and faced design concepts that worked but also felt the moment when something didn't worked out. And everything was fine about that.
At one moment, I found myself increasingly drawn to 3D and technology. I started and never stopped. I still admire the work of amazing artists, like Peter Tarka or Antoni Tudisco . They and so many lovely people more doing amazing work. I admire them and I'll always do.
But last year, something shifted for me. I felt trapped in an industry that was being disrupted at least, that's how I felt. Designers are everywhere, agencies are struggling, and production studios falling behind. I wasn’t sure where to go next. I cried so much. My focus was gone - Non-existing and I was just scared.
At one point, I called my mom( I know it sounds cheesy but it actually happened) and I told her how I felt. She just said "What always helps me is, to completely change the direction. Maybe its time to change things."
So I did it with a focus on something new that I found interesting - AI. I saw a huge opportunity—one where production experience, process understanding, and efficiency could come together to transform how media content is created. To speed up existing processes while maintaining flexibility in how we integrate AI into company workflows. I am not interested in erasing the role of the artist but in enhancing their ability to focus on what truly matters—creativity.
"Efficiency doesn’t have to come at the cost of artistry."

However, when I shared this shift with many in the 3D community, I noticed a strong, almost visceral reaction. Many feel threatened or disillusioned by AI, believing it would disrupt their craft or take away jobs. I completely understand these concerns. But what I think is, AI is about to eliminate the mundane, repetitive tasks that don’t spark joy or innovation. Designers don’t want to spend their days creating hundreds of social media ads either??? Or at least thats what I think.
They want to be challenged and inspired by their work, crafting things that make their work artsy again. AI can handle routine tasks, freeing up creative minds to focus on the ideas that matter.
This realization led me to co-found?Mimikry, a company dedicated to media content with AI and mixed tech. Our mission is to streamline media for brands while still preserving and prioritizing creativity. We aim to seamlessly integrate mixed tech into workflows, allowing for efficiency while also giving artists the space to explore their ideas without being bogged down by endless production cycles.
At?Mimikry, we stand for a balance—efficient, scalable content creation paired with a renewed emphasis on creative ideas. It’s not about erasing human input; it’s about using technology to redefine the word "creativity" again.
I believe we have to shift the focus back to ideas. By focusing on what creation, we believe we can transform how creativity and content production coexist. To help artists do what they do best and most importantly, what they want to do—create.
