Many of you who take an interest in learning about mindfulness and Spirituality know of the Author and Spiritual Teacher, Dr. David Hawkins. He was an authority in the field of consciousness research and spirituality, bringing the "Map of Consciousness" to the world. I found his books around 2018 and couldn't get enough of his teaching. I read several if his books including; "Truth VS Falsehood", "Power VS Force", and "The Eye of the I", just to name a few, and I use the map of consciousness and muscle testing quite a bit. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2012, so I will never have the opportunity to see him in person, even though I feel like I have after listening to and watching several of his recorded seminars.
Even though there is so much material that he has available, I have always thought about how amazing it would be to have a discussion with Dr. Hawkins. Amazingly, ChatGPT has made a version of this possible. Many if not all of you have heard of ChatGPT by now but did you know that you can ask questions and receive them in the style of certain people if ChatGPT has consumed their writings? I thought it would be so cool to do an interview with an AI Dr. David Hawkins about the workplace. Here are the top 5 questions and answers from that interview. I hope you enjoy this conversation.

- Report the behavior: If the bullying behavior continues, it may be necessary to report it to a supervisor or human resources department. It's important to provide clear and specific examples of the behavior and any documentation that has been collected.
This answer led to a follow up question. Dr. Hawkins would have remained compassionate even to people who mistreated him so this answer may not have pleased everyone. However, since people are unhappy with their employment for many reasons, not just workplace bullying, I asked; How can a person happy at a job they do not like?
AI Dr. Hawkins: Finding happiness at a job you do not like can be challenging, but it is possible by changing your perspective and mindset. Here are some practices that may help:
- Practice Gratitude: Find things to be grateful for in your job, such as a supportive colleague or a steady paycheck. Focus on the positives and try to let go of negative thoughts.
- Mindfulness: Practice mindfulness to stay present and focused on the task at hand. By being mindful, you can find pleasure in simple tasks and reduce feelings of boredom or dissatisfaction.
- Reframe Your Thinking: Try to reframe negative thoughts into positive ones. For example, instead of focusing on the things you dislike about your job, focus on the skills you are developing or the experience you are gaining.
- Seek Growth Opportunities: Look for opportunities to grow and develop your skills, such as taking on new projects or attending training sessions. This can help you feel more engaged and invested in your work.
- Cultivate Positive Relationships: Build positive relationships with colleagues and supervisors. Having a supportive network can help reduce stress and increase job satisfaction.
By practicing these techniques, it is possible to find happiness and fulfillment in a job that you do not like. It's important to remember that finding happiness at work is not just about the job itself, but also about your mindset and perspective. By cultivating positive habits and focusing on the good, you can increase your overall sense of well-being and satisfaction.

12 个月Hi George, Thanks for this. Having read most of his books and attended several vipassana retreats it was a delight to stumble onto this article. I am sure Dr Hawkins would see the humour and wisdom in sharing this. The article and answers are insightful and hopefully fan people's curiosity to reading his books and pursuing their journey towards Truth.
I don’t think is is funny or in any way productive. I wonder what the real dr David R Hawkins would’ve said about AI, and about a robot composing answers using his name?!!! This is wrong! And if you have any respect for the real person, you would leave his legacy the way it is, with his own books and interviews and videos, instead of mashing up his knowledge into bite size unreal answers just to satisfy your own ego!
