AI Will Impact Every Area Of Digital Marketing
Artificial intelligence is not just something we should be using to make our lives easier. It is increasingly becoming a necessary part of our everyday marketing efforts. Most smart companies will not even hire a marketer who is not using AI in some way shape or form.

Generative AI and SEO
One of the most significant impacts of AI on marketing is in the realm of search engine optimisation (SEO). With the advent of Search Generative Experience (SGE), traditional SEO strategies are evolving. Generative AI tools can assist you with creating content, generate meta descriptions, help you to create structured data, and even suggest keywords, making the SEO process more efficient and data-driven.
However, there's a catch. Websites have already started to see a decrease in organic search traffic as AI systems provide users with direct answers to their queries without requiring them to visit multiple sites.
Google can also easily detect low quality AI written content produced at scale. They call it 'scaled content abuse' and this can impact how well your website ranks in Google going forward if you are not careful.
AI-First Websites and Chatbots
As AI technology advances, the expectations of website visitors are also likely to change. Users will eventually start to anticipate more personalised and efficient interactions with your website, which AI can deliver through AI-friendly websites and chatbots.
