AI Ignorance: The silent career killer in the GPT Age

Life has a funny way of throwing curveballs, doesn't it? This week, I found myself in two situations that perfectly mirrored each other's intensity. On one hand, I was strapped to a treadmill for a cardiac stress test. On the other, I was in a demo of Microsoft's new AI, CoPilot. Both were exhilarating, both demanded my attention, and both held an unnerving uncertainty about the future.

When it came to the treadmill, the test started, the treadmill hummed to life, and with each passing minute, the pace increased, the incline escalated, deliberately pushing my heart to its maximum. It was not just a test of my physical fitness, but a peek into a future where heart health could no longer be taken for granted. It was a sharp reminder that to stay in the game, I had to prioritise my health and fitness.

The unveiling of Microsoft's CoPilot integrations sparked a different kind of heart race. This was a glimpse into the very near future, a future where AI is not just an aid, but a very powerful collaborator. As I watched the functionalities of CoPilot, I was simultaneously thrilled and a little overwhelmed. The world is changing, and at a pace more rapid than I had thought. The pressure was on me to keep up, to stay ahead, to learn, adapt, and grow with the technology.

So, there I was, in two vastly different situations, each making my heart race, each pushing me to be at the top of my game, each an embodiment of an uncertain future. But isn't that what life is all about? Preparing for the unexpected, embracing the challenges, and striving to be the best we can be, both physically and intellectually. It's a race we're all running, one heartbeat and one AI advancement at a time.
