AI is reshaping our work (and play), but the real challenge isn’t just harnessing technology - it’s integrating innovation with humanity.?

1. IQ (Intelligence/Information Quotient): Traditionally, IQ measures your cognitive abilities - your reasoning, problem-solving, and understanding of complex ideas. We have IQ, and AI has IQ. I like to think of it as information quotient as well. IQ represents how we use information and intelligence to make sense of the world. AI hallucinates. Yes, and… Humans lie. AI literacy is more important than ever now and understanding what the capabilities are and how to use them are essential.?

Not just for us, but for the children and future generations.

1. EQ (Emotional/Empathy Quotient): This is all about empathy, understanding human emotions, and building meaningful connections. AI might be able to analyze sentiment data, but it can’t genuinely understand emotions. Not yet, anyways. This is the one differentiator we have. A major one. Our EQ drives engagement and nurtures a culture of belonging. The human component is irreplaceable.
2. AQ (Agency/Action Quotient): This is the ability to act, adapt, and lead decisively. AQ is where vision meets execution. Humans can do things, we are able to act, we have agency and we can make things happen. AI cannot do this on its own. At least, not yet… (growth mindset, anyone?) We program autonomous vehicles, autonomous drones and autonomous machines. AI does not do that. So, again, this is another major area of focus for us as humans. AI can automate processes, but it’s currently humans who set the purpose and direction. Hopefully that stays true in the future as well….
