But it will change who keeps them.
For years, marketing has been filled with useless noise, with marketers hiding behind jargon, metrics that don't matter, and surface level strategies that don’t deliver results. AI is taking away all of that, leaving only those who truly understand human behaviour, strategy, and brand building to thrive.
AI can automate tasks, generate content, and analyze data at a scale no human can. But what AI can’t do is create emotion, spark curiosity, or craft a brand story that resonates on a deeper level. That still requires human instinct, creativity, and a deep understanding of why people buy.
Bad marketers who rely on AI to do their job will be exposed, because AI makes mediocre content easier to create, which means the market will be flooded with noise. Those who don’t bring real strategy and originality will quickly fade into irrelevance.
The future of marketing belongs to those who use AI as a tool, not a crutch.
