AI Helps Predict Attacks

A friend advised me about this one - we should be using all the computing energy we collectively have to become more effective at predictive analysis and translating that into action to protect our valuable information. The lack of cohesion in the corporate world can partly be explained by seriously underserved C-Level executives but that doesn't tell the whole story. Instead of complaining about the long hours and job challenges when is the last time our security practitioners reached out to teach others how to communicate and network with other security practitioners? There's a weakness somewhere - if only I could find it:

8 年I agree Tim. I would love to see our country invest in AI2 or similar methods. But specifically with a corporate and government coop. Wasn't that how Department of Homeland Security was originally designed for air & transportation but with communication with all government entities? I don't see that happening anymore. We all know for a fact that when a war happens we will loose all of our technology as the "bad guys" are currently practicing to bring us down. Maybe go back to the competition model the security hack groups do each year but on a grander scale that includes a followup with all and include the government instead of expecting the large corporations to absorb the cost in finding the solution.
