AI generated podcasts are a reality. NotebookLM is a Google AI experiment that lets you upload content – PDFs, text files, websites, YouTube video links, copied text, etc. to a “notebook.” Each notebook is, in essence, a folder that can contain up to 50 content items. This is all the information NotebookLM works from, which makes it far less prone to making up facts, quotes, etc. You can ask it questions about the uploads, have it write different kinds of content, create a study guide, etc.

Intentionally Unscalable
While I accept occasional guest posts on my blog, I seldom request permission to share a post. This article by my colleague Jon Cook was so good however, that I decided it needed to be featured in my newsletter. Readers of this newsletter know that I’m an AI guy. When I use AI, I tend to tweak the output more than just a little. In reference to Jon’s “single-prompt-zero-edit ChatGPT content,” I’ve been known to get ChatGPT to modify its responses as much as 30 or 40 times, and then still add my own personalizations to it before publishing. So, of course his story resonated with me. And in light of all the conspiracy theories and fake videos causing us to lose trust in everything we hear and see I felt compelled to share “Intentionally Unscalable” with you. Enjoy!
