FYI, I just experienced the convergence and transformation of the move to current-day #AI at one of our local national banks. They are experimenting in Beta to create a "queue" when a customer walks in you no longer stand in line they take your name (trying to move more people to use online or ATM services). However, since there is only one teller or customer service representative, it can take an hour to get to a banker to help you. I think due to a lack of resources and a change or transformation to get more automated banking this will be likely in most banks where you used to go talk to a human. I hope this bank is consulting with Workday. Thus, we are creating our own replacements as humans. I just felt bad for the teller getting screamed at plus the queue lady in the lobby that was on the frontline by the local manager of a company that makes "subs" about how it was costing him money to wait 20 minutes for a human. Did he not think we all get paid and we all were losing our precious time for something? We all seem to be rushing to hurry up to automate and yet we end up waiting for either way, plus the teller is so rattled she printed the wrong checks. It is not the automation that is the issue, it is the human.
