AI is the Future of Government

Solving Complex Problems with Innovative Technology and Helping Create a More Beautiful World
The next administration has loudly declared that they will change government - what it looks like and how it works. AI is an essential component of moving this vision forward. Here's what DOGE already knows and will expect from rapid adoption of AI across the newly designed U.S. federal landscape.
AI will be used to migrate processing of government benefits, payments and loans from decades old legacy systems and can do so rapidly with built-in metrics to monitor correctness, guard against bias, and provide transparency into how decisions were made.
AI is already being used in the commercial and government spaces to increase the speed at which applications, taxes and other information intake occurs. Furthermore, AI provides in-stream error and fraud checking to deter and stop bad actors.
Where deployed, AI is improving the quality of transactions by decreasing false positives and increasing the percentage of positive positives resulting in less bad payments being released and a marked improvement in getting money into the right hands.
AI makes the workforce more productive and effective! Quantexa's own experience shows a more than 60% increase in productivity by using AI to select work, highlight areas for human intervention and attention, and applying GenAI to write reports and other documentation. AI can also review generated documents to adhere to government standards and correct spelling and formatting errors, while flagging things for review by a human.

Reducing Fraud, Waste and Abuse (FWA) is another area where AI is showing great value. Stopping bad workers from accessing systems and information they aren't authorized to access is just the tip of the iceberg. AI platforms with granular security controls can protect data and citizen privacy down to basic elements.
Governance effectiveness increases when AI is used for real-time monitoring and automation.
And the most visible benefit coming from AI is improving customer service interactions by providing a full view of everything collected about you that resides in the government's data stores. Not only can government use this comprehensive view of you to provide you with better service, but you can attain access to your own information too because it will be much easier to find and access.
AI is key to the type of transformation the incoming administration seeks for the federal government. People will be amazed by the results.
[Side Note: I have no idea what approach the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) will apply to this undertaking. What I do know is there is tremendous value to be gained by taking a horizontal view rather than working in verticals. Image how AI can reduce redundancy residing in thousands of government data repositories and can provide clean, reliable and trustworthy data sources upon which better decisions can be made.]
