It was a fun-friday afternoon sitting down my son Ridanssh looking for his e-bike. I hope to give you insight how AI is getting into our day-to-day life.
The Story: Can ChatGPT Help Us Choose an eBike?
Ridanssh: Dad, I really want an eBike to visit my friends. Can we buy one?
Me: Well, Ridanssh, you know I can't buy anything without doing my research first. Let's gather some data.
Ridanssh: But Dad, that takes forever! Can't we use ChatGPT to help?
Me: Hmm, you have a point there. Let's give it a try.
Step 1: Gathering and Wrangling Data I started by listing down various eBikes along with their specifications: motor power, top speed, range, tire size, battery capacity, and cost.
Step 2: Analyzing Data We fed this data into ChatGPT and asked it to create a table, bar charts, and eventually help us decide which bike would be best for you.
Here's how it went:
Me: Hey ChatGPT, here are the specs for the eBikes. Can you put this data into a table for us?
ChatGPT: Sure! Here’s the table with all the eBike specifications.
Me: Great! Now, can you create a bar chart for the battery capacity?

Me: Awesome. Ridanssh, look at this chart. It shows the battery capacity of each bike.
Ridanssh: Cool! But which one should I get, Dad?
Me: Let's ask ChatGPT. Given all the data, which eBike would be best for a 13-year-old to visit friends within a 2-4 mile radius and handle steep roads?
ChatGPT: Based on the requirements, I recommend the Aipas A2 elite Ebike. It has a 750W motor with rear-wheel drive, a top speed of 28 MPH, a range of 62 miles, weighs 65 lbs, and is foldable with hydraulic brakes.
Ridanssh: That sounds perfect! Thanks, Dad, and thank you, ChatGPT!
Me: Very satisfying indeed.

9 个月This is a use case that I can fully support. What I love about this is the fact that gathering relevant data (variables of importance) was determined by human intelligence and constraints. AI was used simply to organize it and find the optimal solution. Great share, Devendra Goyal
