Do you see yourself as a fast follower??
Are you ready to cross the AI chasm—or will you let fear hold your business back??
These are the questions I pose to CHROs and CEOs weekly.??
Because without executive sponorship, you have no real chance of having real impact. Sure you can automate to achieve a faster status quo—but that’s not transformation. It’s just usually making a short process faster. It’s striking how many companies buy chatbots that do just that.
The key is in the term ‘intelligence.’ Speed and smarts is what you should expect from AI. Otherwise you are just buying automation. That won’t give you a competitive advantage for very long.??
Even as AI, like GPT, gains attention, the gap between innovation and organisation's’ readiness to embrace it remains vast. A chasm.??
What I’ve found is that this resistance often stems from uncertainty—particularly around how to measure AI’s fairness, efficacy and impact.?
Many companies are at the nascency stage of forming their AI governance frameworks/strategy/processes. This is slowing you down from embracing transformation which will reduce your costs, power productivity and of course power people. Real AI gives everyone agency.??
This week I am starting a power course on all things AI.
