Factor 1:
The foundation of the current AI database is hosted on a GPU. The Graphics Processing Unit, or GPU, has become one of the most essential types of computing technology for both personal and business computing. Today, GPUs are increasingly popular for creative production such as rendering video images, mining cryptocurrency, and running artificial intelligence (AI) database systems. For instance, popular AI systems like ChatGBT and Tesla Dojo AI operate on the Nvidia H100 GPUs.
FACTOR 2:
Who are the Primary Makers of GPUs?

The chip wars are underway, marked by US patents and sanctioned technology. I highly recommend the book "Chip Wars" to delve deeper into this silent technological battle between nations. Even Putin, the president of Russia, mentioned, “The nation that leads in AI will be the ruler of the world.” Nvidia is prohibited from selling the A100 and H100 GPUs to China and certain countries in the Middle East due to export controls, which restrict U.S. companies from exporting advanced A.I. chips. AMD highlighted its restriction against selling its MI250 and MI250X high-performance GPUs to Chinese firms. Additionally, ASML, the manufacturer of the EUV chip manufacturing equipment, is now banned from selling to China and many other markets because they leverage American patents overseen by the US government. This American patent system poses a double-edged sword for businesses. While it dictates sales territories, it also protects inventions from being copied, stolen, and globally distributed. However, capitalism invariably finds its path. Nvidia introduced the A800 and H800 chip versions for the Chinese market, aligning with the export control rules. Similarly, AMD has stated its restrictions against selling its MI250 and MI250X high-performance GPUs to Chinese entities. Intel recently unveiled its Gaudi2 AI chip in China, boasting that its A.I. performance is akin to Nvidia’s inaugural A100 variant. Yet, none of these innovations seem to rival the Nvidia H100 GPU.
Factor 4:
Who is behind the manufacturing of these GPU chips, and what prevents nations from replicating the technology? Presently, TSMC in Taiwan stands as the global frontrunner, producing over 90% of the world's cutting-edge chips, placing Taiwan under the spotlight, especially concerning geopolitical and natural disaster risk factors. Even Intel is now entrusting the fabrication of these advanced chips to TSMC. As of now, we are essentially stacking atoms to produce chips. The lion's share of advanced global chip manufacturing, accomplished at 5 to 3 nanometers, employs a machine known as EUV or Extreme Ultraviolet Lithography. With EUV equipment pricing at around $200 million per unit, it elucidates why the emerging EUV fabs globally cost between $17 to $20 billion each. The only fully operational EUV fabs are presently in Taiwan. This scenario explains the US's urgency to pump $52 billion into its domestic semiconductor sector, leading to the construction of chip-manufacturing units across the US, costing over $100 billion. Currently, TSMC, Samsung, and Intel are all inaugurating new EUV fabs stateside.
A massive technological convergence is in play, encompassing Edge Computing, the Internet of Things, CPU markets, Robotics, Quantum Computing, Neuromorphic Computing, Digital Currency, Automation, Electric Vehicles, Bioengineering, DNA Manipulation, Novel Material Creation, and now robotics and computers with sensory perception.
The globe is moving towards a more interconnected state, and such technologies are set to revolutionize our world beyond imagination. The driving force accelerating these innovations will be AI. Given that AI neither sleeps nor requires rest, its progression rate will render today's tech as rudimentary in a mere decade. Imagine a 10-month-old infant amassing and retaining the collective wisdom of the 100,000 most brilliant minds from history within its brief lifespan. Now, envisage its potential a decade later.
While today's AI data servers utilize GPU technology, the shape and nature of this technology are ever-evolving. What's certain is that the future landscape will differ markedly. World technology hinges profoundly on international cooperation. The Samsung phone I carry daily is a product of myriad nations collaborating. From Chinese rare earth metals used in Korean robot motors that handle chip manufacturing, to US patents, to chip fabrication in Taiwan, to the lens of the EUV tool made in Germany - the scale of international collaboration is staggering. No single country can achieve this alone.
Should GPU tech be exclusive to the US and its rivals? If such technology holds the key to global challenges like hunger and poverty, can we trust global governments not to misuse it against human rights? There are countless questions yet unanswered.

1 年50 years of ancestral traditional Chinese medicine (GMP legal pharmaceutical formula) and the way to treat burns, fractures and wounds. Let's talk about burns and scalds caused by accidents, which are a lot. No one wants these accidents to happen to themselves, but when accidents happen, we still have to face them, because this is a real problem, and serious injuries have been caused. Although the accidents have not found us yet, it doesn't mean that they will never happen to us, so we should have a sense of crisis. We should care about such issues. We should stick together to find real solutions to help so many patients in need of assistance. In fact, the real solution is this ancestral traditional Chinese medicine with no doubt. This important traditional Chinese medicine has actually been invented. Unfortunately, it has not been applied to mainstream medical treatments. Therefore, we compiled the cases of these treatments into a book. I hope that by sharing these real treatment cases, people all over the world will understand more. When the injury occurs, the failure to use the correct treatment method is not only painful torture to the injured, but also a waste of national medical resources. Let's talk about the treatment methods of Western medicine all over the world: first, when a burn is a third-degree burn, you have to do debridement in about a week, and then cut your own skin for skin grafting. Sometimes there are holes in the place of skin grafting, and some people have skin grafting for 2 to 3 times. These long and painful treatment processes, tearing pain again and again, are not tolerable by ordinary people. This is not over yet, you have to wear tight pressure garment to avoid joint atrophy and deformation. In the process of joint rehabilitation, you have to go through hydrotherapy. No one knows when this long road of rehabilitation will end. Furthermore, sometimes the treatment result is poor and will cause lifelong disfigurement. Sometimes, some patients only have fractures without displacement, and can be stabilized with plaster. Some of the injuries are serious and require surgery. But whether there is an operation or not, in fact, it takes about three months for our bones to grow back. The fracture treatment is not completed after hospital treatment. There is also a swelling problem in the follow-up, which will cause joint atrophy and deformation, and it will take a long time for rehabilitation. Some patients have fractures. After surgery, the superficial wound looks normal, but if the internal swelling causes inflammation and infection, debridement should be done. With more than 50 years of ancestral traditional Chinese medicine, we treat third-degree burns without skin grafting. We treat them immediately and relieve pain immediately. The skin will recover, the joints will not shrink and deform, and the skin will not leave scars. The fractured part will be treated with Chinese (ancestral traditional chinese medicine) and western medicine, and the effectiveness can reach 90%. Without rehabilitation, the bone changes and recovers within a month. Through the internal and external treatment of Chinese and western medicine, the patient can recover quickly. Finally, we hope to achieve the most perfect treatment for the patient through external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine, internal treatment of western medicine and combined treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine.
