AI Eases Travel Woes

I have a friend who LIVES to plan vacations, coordinating flights for everyone is her most favorite part. It really is an art to be able to find flights that not only work within the schedule but also the budget of everyone involved and she is a master at it.? But not everyone has that skill, enter GPT-4. You can use ChatGPT4 and coordinate all the flights and budgets quickly and without having to use a spreadsheet or remember which tab your flight information is in. Have you asked ChatGPT to summarize a book for you? It does a really good job, too good according to a pair of authors. They are suing OpenAI for using the entirety of their books to train the AI model. They will however still have to prove where the data to train the model on their work was found and that they suffered financial losses. As these lawsuits start to heat up it will be interesting to see how this changes the field of AI and the regulations around it. (2 minute read)

The US military is putting AI through its paces this month. They are testing to determine if the use of AI would be useful and, more importantly, safe for secret level data. This will be a big change for the military because up until now they have been siloed and not much is in a digital format. (3 minute read)
