AI is Dooming Us
At first, AI seemed to be a helpful tool for maximizing productivity in our workflows, but as this technology becomes more advanced, what we see on social media isn't so "social" anymore - it's becoming computer-generated.
What happened to the phrase "be your authentic self"? Has that gone out the door just because a computer can save you a few minutes of content creation?
Of course, I'm referring to the explosive growth of tools that make it easier than ever for an AI to generate copy for social media. You can't help but wonder now whether each comment you receive is written by a human or generated by an AI.
Don't get me wrong. Technology has become a vital tool in helping us be more productive and efficient, but when it comes to marketing, isn't it our job to be creative and relatable? Doesn't it undermine the purpose of social media if you can't be sure if you're talking to a real person?
If you aren't making genuine connections, then what's the point?
