???OpenAI will let everyone deploy its computer-operating AI in their own apps
?
Agents are said to be the future of AI, and now OpenAI is trying to help developers build their own. The company is releasing a new Responses API that offers building blocks for developers to create agents capable of searching the web, digging through files, and performing tasks on a computer on their behalf.
?
“There are some agents that we will be able to build ourselves, like Deep Research and Operator,” Olivier Godement, the head of product for the OpenAI platform, tells The Verge. “But the world is so complex, there are so many industries and use cases… and so we’re super excited to provide those foundations, those building blocks for developers to build the best agents for their use case, their needs.”
?
?? AI agents are getting real, and OpenAI is making sure anyone can build one! The potential is huge - automation, smarter workflows, and better decision-making. But are we ready for a world where AI not only assists but acts on our behalf?..

?? OpenAI reportedly plans to charge up to $20,000 a month for specialized PhD-level AI ‘agents’
?
OpenAI may be planning to charge up to $20,000 per month for specialized AI “agents,” according to The Information. The publication reports that OpenAI intends to launch several “agent” products tailored for different applications, including sorting and ranking sales leads and software engineering. One, a “high-income knowledge worker” agent, will reportedly be priced at $2,000 a month. Another, a software developer agent, is said to cost $10,000 a month. OpenAI’s most expensive rumored agent, priced at the aforementioned $20,000-per-month tier, will be aimed at supporting “PhD-level research,” according to The Information.
?
?? AI is getting smarter – and much more expensive, apparently! OpenAI’s rumored pricing for specialized AI agents shows just how valuable automation and intelligence have become. But at $20 000 per month, the big question is: will these agents truly replace high-level human expertise, or are we just going to be overpaying for essentially very advanced assistants? The future of work is changing fast, and not everyone will like where it’s going – especially at prices this high!

???Google calls Gemma 3 the most powerful AI model you can run on one GPU
?
A little over a year after?releasing two “open” Gemma AI models?built from the same technology behind its Gemini AI, Google is?updating the family with Gemma 3. According to the blog post, these models are intended for use by developers creating AI applications capable of running wherever they’re needed, on anything from a phone to a workstation with support for over 35 languages, as well as the ability to analyze text, images, and short videos.
?
?? Google is stepping up the AI game with Gemma 3 - bringing serious power at the cost of a single good GPU. More accessibility means more innovation, and one thing is clear - AI is getting smarter, smaller, and harder to ignore. I think we’re likely to see a huge explosion in the number of AI-powered functions within our smartphones and PCs.

???China’s Manus Follows DeepSeek in Challenging US AI Lead
?
For months, many leading artificial intelligence developers in the US have been racing to develop sophisticated AI agents that can carry out more complex tasks on a user’s behalf. Now, a lesser-known Chinese startup is claiming to have vaulted ahead of them.
?
Manus AI last week launched a preview version of what it called a general AI agent capable of screening resumes, creating trip itineraries and analyzing stocks in response to basic instructions from the user. The company said its service performed better on some fronts than OpenAI’s Deep Research, another recently released agent.
?
?? China isn’t just catching up in AI - it’s aiming to lead. Manus AI’s bold claims show how fast competition is heating up, and the US no longer has a monopoly on cutting-edge AI development. The real question is: will this push for AI dominance lead to better technology for everyone, or just fuel an even bigger AI arms race – expensive and hardly productive?
