AI in construction, Midjourney, and more

Hi,

We have an exciting announcement to make!

We recently launched PA Editorial Fellowship to encourage new editors and writers to contribute to the field of architecture and design. Our goal is to ensure that people from diverse backgrounds have visibility in this field. ??

The 3-month program will provide training in writing about architecture and design, digital publishing, blogging, research methods, and the impact of emerging technologies on digital publishing. PA Editorial Fellows will have the opportunity to observe, create, and receive feedback on content. The application will remain open until August 10, 2024.

Today, we have The Diffusion Architect workshop; we will explore the practical application of Stable Diffusion in the architecture design workflow. We will introduce the technology and fundamental concepts, followed by hands-on practice configuring and navigating Stable Diffusion settings.?

Let's dive into the newsletter!

Best,

PA Next Team

AI in Construction Management and Automation

Artificial Intelligence has become an irresistible force in today’s world, plunging itself into nearly every aspect of human life. Yet, the construction industry is a key area where AI has been blooming lately. As the $10 trillion industry propels itself into faster-paced and digitized contexts, the impact of AI is subverting many traditional methods.

Choosing the right AI tool: Midjourney vs. Stable Diffusion

The evolution of AI in recent times has transformed the field of digital art and design, giving people the power to bring their ideas to visual designs. Today, there are many powerful tools in the market that can help convert textual prompts into visual/digital art.

How has digital art evolved, and what are its defining characteristics?

Imagine it’s the 19th century. An artist is meticulously working on a canvas, blending the colors together to create a masterpiece.
